Memoirs with my master - Its not easy to qualify as a disciple !!

In May 1997 being blessed by my guru to start giving lectures on spirituality I started following His directives.  The usual system in ‘Sanatan Sanstha’ is that first of all, we  seekers are asked to start the preliminary book on spirituality called “Intorduction to the science of Spirituality’ but surprisingly as per guruleela (divine paly of my shreeguru ) I was given the manuscript of disciple(as the bookwas not published then) and the reason given was that the first book has been taken twice in the satsang by the former satsang conductor hence I should take a fresh topic now . But now I can understand the whole thing very nicely. While explaining the subject of ‘Disciple’ to the people, I too tried  to understand the  characteristics of a disciple and started implementing them too .   This book helped a lot in refining the inner discipleship in me – by sincerely studying every topic explained in the book.  I started to practice the tenets in my life through body, mind and money.   Within a few months, I made it my goal that I have to become a disciple – by attaining 55% spiritual level.   What is 55% spiritual level, to understand this point,  I will tell you about this subject in brief.   This issue has been dealt with, in detail, by our Shreeguru in the book – “Introduction to the science of spriituality.”  Or u can log into the following link http://www.spiritualresearchfoundation.org/articles/id/spiritual-level
The whole Universe has been constructed by God, thus, living, non-living and other beings possess some amount of purity, non-living things have 1-2%, animate plant life has  approximately 5%, and animal kingdom has about 10% of purity or sattva component – to be born as human being, a minimum of 20% purity is required and the saints who achieve communion with God have 100% purity.  A person having 20% level is akin to an atheist and has no interest in spirituality, gods-goddesses, or spiritualism.  At 30% level, a persons starts doing regular worship and following rituals, visiting pilgrimages, reading hymns and other ritualistic practice.   On achieving35% level, a little interest in spiritualism in the real sense starts to get awakened and the seeker tries to start spiritual practice.  On reaching 40% level, the seeker tries to start chanting name mentally and on achieving 45% level, interest in spiritualism begins to increase and from many spiritual practices, the seeker’s stay in one type of practice begins.
On realizing 50% level, the seeker starts attaching more importance to spiritual life, in comparison to practical life, and starts performing spiritual acts like attending discourses and performing service on a regular basis.  At a level of 55%, a true Guru enters his life and he starts to dedicate 55% of his body, mind and money to the Guru for any spirituality-related work.  At 60% spiritual level, service in the true sense begins.  At a level lower than this, efforts at performing service are limited to understanding issues through the mind and intellect.  At 70% level, the seeker attains the status of a saint and at 80% is placed on the pedestal of a Sadguru and at 90% - ‘Paratpar  stature’ is attained.

After understanding the level-wise practice, I began to sacrifice body-mind-money accordingly with a view to attain the disciple status – which meant aiming for a 55% level.  By God’s grace, just after one year, on July 21, 1998, I got the permission to do full time spiritual practice under the guidance of my Shreeeguru.  I was sent for spreading spirituality to Faridabad (Haryana).  In August 1998, I was thinking  that Shreeguru had said in one of his discourses that every seeker should try to aim to reach atleast  the level of 55%, so I have achieved it ,  what next ?  Gurus are omniscient.  A confirmation of this will be reinforced by the following sequence of events.  Only two days had passed, when this thought had crossed my mind, when a senior seeker handed over a book written by Shreeguru – “Gurukrupayog” and said that it is a new book.  Tomorrow, this is to be submitted for obtaining the ISBN no (International Standard Book Number), so if you want to have a look at it, you can do so.  I started to read the book at night, when first of all an issue caught my attention  and that was – “The level of a Guru and accordingly – the level of their disciples”.  It mentioned that to be a disciple of a saint at 90% level – or more, the disciple’s level must be at least 80%.  The book mentions several instances which makes it clear that Shreeguru is a saint at a level above 90% and thus His true disciple with a level of 80% can become his disciple.  Having read it, my heart sank for a few moments, as it meant that to become a disciple of my Shreeguru, not a level of 55%, but that of 80% level must be targeted.
Since my childhood, I have always had a habit of working with fixed targets in mind and for the last few days, it had been crossing my mind as to what should be my next objective – I now understood the reason behind His reminding me about the issue.  From that day onwards, I decided that now I would have to make efforts to attain the next target, for becoming the disciple of my Shreeguru was the sole objective of life.  MyShreeguru too had recognized this objective.  The reality too remains that Gurus provide the goal – and it is only they who get it accomplished, we are but a mere medium…..
He too had identified in reality the meaning and thus, set a goal for me and I too from that year onwards, began making efforts in that direction and a time came, when I became engrossed in spreading  spirituality at the  ‘gross’ form for two years.  It was then that my Guru reminded me of my goal through the ‘subtle’ medium and also provided me guidance to move ahead in this direction.
